Job Overview and Responsibilities
Syensqo is creating its internal Global Business Services (GBS) to cover Finance, Procurement and Human Resources activities. We offer you to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment and to contribute to this group’s transformation.
Join us in one of our 3 service centers: Lisbon, Curitiba, and Bangkok, be part of this transformation journey from the start.
The incumbent will have the accountability and responsibility to make the Provisioning and Account Payable processes work in a given country/region, using his/her deep knowledge to connect all the involved organizations, reducing interfaces.
Applicable scope:Provisioning and Account Payable
Key Responsibilities:
Support to Users
Manage and solve service non-standard stakeholders’ issues (Users, Buyers, Accountants)
Manage and solve operational escalation
Take in charge any critical situation which could not be managed using the applicable standard services: direct contacts with Users to go straight to the solution
Participate to the local problem analysis and contribute to the solution definition
Follow up on customers’ complaint management when initiated in his/her country and coordinate the reply and solution deployment
Touch point & Improvement
Establish an effective and fruitful collaboration with with country stakeholders (Users, Buyers, Accountants)
Work in close collaboration with Service Specialist and Compliance Specialist from the Service Unit to analyse root cause and solve non-standard service issue
Identify areas of improvement which could generate process competitive advantages for the entire scope
Manage Local/Regional improvement actions and debrief
Alert Service Unit on country risk and opportunities that changes could generate for service improvement
Sustain the Service Units efforts for the service implementation at country level
Ensure high standard of service performance and compliance by reporting issues and feedback to Service Units and to monitor the KPIs for his/her given country
Training
Deploy the training prepared by Service Owners to stakeholders and newcomers, about the use of tools and the global process rules Provide training on new PtP tool releases
Promote and remind standard services and best practices and how to access them to avoid any recurring non-compliance
Ease and promote the users’ self-service approach (push left) using standard solutions
Enforce stakeholders to use the existing PtP policies, procedures, processes and tools in the given country
Education and Experience
Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline
Possess 2 to 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing domains or Accounting
Must-have skills
SAP experience in the domain
Customer-orientated with good level of problem-solving skills
Proactive with a significant level of initiative and autonomy in the day-to-day organization
Customer-orientated with good level of problem-solving skills
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Service driven mindset and ability to be agile
Must-have language skills
Good level of spoken and written skills in English for all positions.
Good Level of spoken and written capabilities in GERMAN required
