Job Overview and Responsibilities

Syensqo is creating its internal Global Business Services (GBS) to cover Finance, Procurement and Human Resources activities. We offer you to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment and to contribute to this group’s transformation.

The incumbent will deliver Learning & Development services according to the service catalog:

Key Responsibilities :

  • Facilitation and maintenance of development programs including: incorporating a combination of animation/video, microlearning, coaching/manager touchpoints, synchronous and asynchronous learning, opportunities for hands-on practice of their new skills, challenges (individual or group), reflective moments and assessments.

  • Leveraging current technology to create engaging and relevant blended learning journeys in partnership with SMEs based on business needs

  • Point of contact for managers and employees, animating communities to increase engagement, promoting a learning mindset, liaising with the technical team for additional support, etc.

  • Consulting with the business on areas where the L&D team can support them, educating the business on learning best practices and our learning mindset. Advising stakeholders on diverse ways to develop and supporting them to embed these new ways of learning into their offerings.

  • Stakeholder and supplier management:

  • Advise stakeholders on external Instructional Design and eLearning creation resources.

  • Establish contract with preferred vendors, fee paid by business as needed

  • Promotion of new and existing development programs (program specific marketing campaigns, live quarterly information sessions, campaigns for Academies to their target audience, etc.)

  • Support the transition of Learning and Development activities as part of the global transformation, in line with the planned activities for the team, scope of Learning associates, necessary knowledge transfer, and establish new standards of learning and development services

  • Monitor and measure efficiency and quality of Learning and Development services, tracking SLA performance, employee feedback, with a focus on continuous improvement

  • Provide workshops to managers and their teams to help them understand how to access, share and report on the resources that are available to them and to become self sufficient in the use of the Learning Management System

Education & Experience

  • University degree in Human Resources or related field preferred (but not critical)

  • Experience working in an HR role for multi-country, regional or global scope

  • Project or Program management

  • Experience in the areas of customer service, process management & optimization is also helpful

Must have skills

  • Experience in implementing blended learning & development programs with a corporate environment is required

  • Proven track record as a Program Manager, specifically managing and developing programs on a global scale (such as leadership development programs)

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate workshops, lead L&D information sessions, and increase engagement for specific L&D programs to target audiences

  • Experience with process optimisation, agile ways of working and problem solving

  • Strong understanding of learning technologies and digital tools, with a demonstrated ability to drive and support technology adoption across an organization

  • Proactive and driven, with a strong ability to push projects to completion within deadlines

  • Attention to detail to maintain the highest operational standards

  • Fluency in English (Written and Spoken)

  • French language skills - beneficial
