We are looking for:

  • Syensqo is seeking a skilled Global Automation Engineer - Controls to join our global team.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for PLC upgrades, working closely with IT teams, senior stakeholders, and integrating systems to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

  • The role will involve adding instrumentation, running projects, and managing capital budgets efficiently.

  • Design, implement, and oversee PLC upgrades across various locations.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.

  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide solutions.

  • Integrate PLC systems with MES for enhanced manufacturing operations.

  • Add instrumentation to existing systems for improved data collection and analysis.

  • Lead and support projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.

  • Manage capital budgets effectively, optimizing costs and resources.

You will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Proven experience in PLC programming, upgrades, and system integration.

  • Strong understanding of MES systems and their integration with PLC controls.

  • Excellent project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage budgets.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams.

  • Willingness to travel internationally, as needed.

Additional Information: (Preferred)

  • Certifications in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
