And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet’s beauty for the generations to come.

We are looking for:

  • This is an exciting time for Syensqo as we create a successful, market-leading company. The newly created Chief of Staff is an advisor, gatekeeper, communicator, project manager, and problem solver for the Consumer & Resources organization.

  • The Chief of Staff will facilitate the flow of information across business units and among the executive team.

We count on you for:

  • Act as a personal and trusted supporter and advisor to the Presidents of Novecare and Technology Solutions within the larger Consumer & Resources (C&R) organization.

  • Prepare meetings, interviews, reports, manage projects, and represent the Presidents in the meetings they cannot attend.

  • Ensure the follow-up of meetings and orchestrate the implementation of decisions in a timely manner.

  • Prioritize the President’s agenda to focus on the most impactful tasks by making time, information, and decision processes more effective.

  • Connect with other stakeholders and work streams to support them with meetings or projects.

  • Support the link between the C&R leadership team and the broader organization.

  • Arrange, improve, and oversee internal operations and processes within the C&R organization.

  • Support, coordinate, and/or assume responsibility for diverse, cross-functional projects without a clear owner.

  • Collaborate with the Syensqo Communications Team, ensuring that leadership's messages are clear, coherent, and in line with Syensqo objectives.

  • Provide full briefings on meetings.

  • Focus on the content of meetings & presentations, not only the agenda and logistics.

  • Anticipate risks and point out key project considerations that might be missed.

  • Become the chief problem solver, by identifying and addressing current or potential challenges, and devising and executing effective solutions.

You will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. A Master’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

  • At least 5 years of experience

  • Ability to navigate across the Group and establish collaborative relationships and networks with entities easily

  • Agile mindset; able to be effective and make it happen in a highly dynamic context, with fast-changing priorities and work on different topics at the same time

  • Learning agility by doing and observing people

  • Courageous and energetic to sustain high intensity over an extended period

  • Ability to manage confidential information adequately

  • Ability to simplify complex reports, meetings, work streams

  • Business knowledge: the ability to learn & understand the market, competitive landscape, and what is required for sustained operating results

  • Strategic thinking, quick understanding, fast synthesis of information, and the ability to connect the small insights to the larger view

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide perspectives both at a high level (helicopter view) and at a detailed level

  • Structured and organized, with an 80/20 sense of what matters and when

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.  Experience writing and communicating with executives. Have the ability to refine the leader's message and ensure it is understood by the right audiences.

  • Demonstrate a high level of integrity to do the right thing, with a high executive presence.

  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Office (including Analysis) and Google, as well as SAP.

You will get:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package

  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $80,560 to $100,700 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes a sales incentive plan (variable annual bonus).

  • 16, or more weeks, of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations

  • Training platform for all employees

  • Free language courses (24 languages available)

  • Free well-being sessions (physical and psychological)

Additional Information:

  • The role will report directly to the President of technology Solutions and have a dotted line to the President of Novecare/President of Consumer and Resources.
